About PHILLIP HOOKS, JR
Phillip Hooks is a Partner with Advisors Commercial Real Estate in the Dallas/Fort Worth office. In addition to overall business development initiatives for Advisors, he also handles project leasing, tenant representation, investment sales and land brokerage assignment. Hooks entered the commercial real estate field in 2013, specializing in retail project leasing after transitioning to commercial real estate from a career in insurance sales.
Hooks is committed to serving both landlords and sellers while also devoting time to the tenants with whom he feels privileged to represent. Recent significant assignments include selling Gateway Center in Watauga, TX.
Prior to Advisors, Hooks was an Assistant Vice President with the Weitzman Group in Dallas where he handled project leasing for a portfolio of shopping centers. Prior to Weitzman, he was in insurance sales with Liberty Mutual.
Hooks earned a bachelors’s degree in Political Science from University of North Texas. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. He enjoys basketball and watching his two daughters play soccer. Phil is a lifelong Dallas resident.
